White Horse Whisky/Whiskey Vintage Advertising Water Jug/Pitcher

  

This attractive vintage advertising White Horse Whisky Water Jug has a round bulbous shape with upright rim, plain spout and applied handle. The jug/pitcher is white with blue decoration of countryside and hunting scenes to the body, the handle, and also the inside and outside of the rim. There are two oval panels on the sides with black wording and images on a white background, one depicts a stage coach hauled by white horses with the wording White Horse Whisky and the other shows the White Horse logo with the words White Horse Whisky Estab 1742.

There are gold lines around the two oval panels, along the top of the rim and spout, around the base and the lower part of the rim and spout plus each side of the handle. These gold lines are faded in places especially around the rim, below the spout, around the base and on the sides of the handle. The base is marked Shelly England. The approximate dimensions are height 13cm (5.1/4 in) and width 16cm (6.1/2in). Apart from the faded gold lines the jug is in very good condition.
