Vintage & RARE 1940s Red Wing Pottery Streamlined Ice Box Jug (no lid)

  

Red Wing Pottery "Streamlined" rare and vintage ice box jug (no lid) - turquoise. In 1940 Red Wing introduced several items under the name "Streamlined" as part of the Gypsy Trail Hostess Ware line. The pieces in the Streamlined group have a design on each side that consisted of three raised ovals of decreasing size on top of each other. By June 1942 the water pitcher (with its over the top handle) was the only remaining Streamlined item in the catalog and by 1944 it too had been discontinued. This jug is in good vintage condition.

There are no chips or cracks in the pottery; there is some staining on the interior. See photos for visual description.
