This exceptional vintage Irish silver water jug, in sterling standard, has a plain baluster form onto a circular spreading foot. The body of this impressive vintage silver jug is plain and unembellished, with an applied moulded border to the flared upper rim and pouring lip. This impressive example of vintage silverware is fitted with a C scroll handle ornamented with a shaped thumbpiece, in addition to a scrolling upper socket. This vintage Irish silver water jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full Irish hallmarks struck to the surface are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
