Victorian Heavily Engraved Glass Water Pitcher MINT

  

7 1/2 tall tapering cylindrical clear glass jug with reeded applied handle, engraved all over with flowers, leaves and a butterfly. Polished pontil on the base. The quality and sheer amount of engraving is exceptional. A very similar floral engraved jug is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum of English origin dated 1888.
