Turkish Handcrafted Copper vintage Water Pitcher Jug with Lid. LARGE

  

From research, it clearly looks like a handmade Turkish Water jug with a lid. It is large, 18 inches from base to top of lid, 15 inches from base to lip of jug opening, 12 inches across from spout to back of handle. 24 inches around at widest point; weight empty approx. Lid is firmly attached but does not sit straight. I've had this item since 1998 for no special purpose except that it looks mysterious and great.
