Gorgeous Victorian sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co.

In New York, ca 1885. Globular with drum-form neck, small lip spout, and c-scroll handle.

Dense floral repousse on body. Same on handle, which has ribbed bands and striated medallion mounts. Neck has chased and ornamental bands, including meandering grapevine and leaf-and-patera on lined ground. Fully marked including maker's stamp, pre-1875 pattern no. 3077, and director's letter M (1873-91).
