Exquisite Small Solid Sterling Silver Mounted, Water / Noggins Jug. Fully Hallmarked, Assayed Birmingham, Date Letter f 1905.

This exquisite small cut glass water / whisky spirit jug / noggin is a beautiful example of sterling silver craftsmanship by renowned makers Hukin & Heath, made in Birmingham, England during the Edwardian period.
This Jug / Noggin is very rare, I have never seen another example, it exhibits very well, simple but very stylish Arts & Crafts design elements. The glass body is angled form with a precision hand cut lemon slice flat crystal glass base. The silver collar & pourer has clear hallmarks and is in remarkably wonderful condition, fixed very firmly and no nasty stains or marks.
Despite its age, this water jug / noggin remains in excellent condition and the only wear is on the base as you would expect on the contact surface area, although this is also very minimal. This lovely water jug / noggin comes with a new black cotton drawstring bag, which will protect the jug / noggin when not in use and would make a wonderful gift for the fine Spirit drinker, not just the fine whiskey lovers, but also the Brandy and Cognac connoisseur.

Excellent condition, Silver work has no dents, dints or nasty scratches, silver is bright and shiny without any dull areas, sterling silver mount is solid and sealed. Glass has no nasty nibbles or cracks, interior is clear of any fogging or pitting, Hand cut lemon slice glass base is free of any nasty nibbles. Cracks or heavy surface scratches.The jug / Noggin stands straight & true, no wobbles. There maybe some very fine marks commensurate with age, however they would be very minor. Apologies for some reflections and shadows, photos were taken in a conservatory, hence the reflections of the grey sky and glass roof, any dark areas or marks are just reflections.
