REED & BARTON SUNNY JIM SILVER WATER PITCHER. This RARE Antique, Silver Plated Hollowware Water Pitcher was Made by REED & BARTON of Taunton Massachusetts, Founded in 1822. The Company is Truly One of Americas Premier Silver Companies. The Number Inscribed on the Bottom "5640" - 7HP Known as the SUNNY JIM Double-Face Pitcher. This pitcher still has the original REED & BARTON sticker on the bottom!

The RARE Pitcher is Three Dimensional and Double Sided. This Rare Pitcher Was Introduced in the 1920's, Made in Small Quantities. Sadly, The Sunny Jim Pitcher was Discontinued in 1953. It Measures about 7.5 Inches High by About 9 inches Across from Handle to Pourer. This holds 4 pints or 64 ounces.

The Inscription on the Bottom Reads - Reed & Barton 5640 7HP. This is a Very Interesting, Unique and Eclectic Piece and is in Good Condition! The Silver Plate is in Very Good Condition. The Reddish-Brown or white Patches in the Pictures are Camera Flash Reflections, Not Color on the silver.

There is a little tarnish on the outside of the pitcher and more on the inside. I spent a little time polishing the outside with a silver cloth but did not clean the inside.
