Antique late 19th or early 20th century ironstone water pitcher with hand painted monogrammed flag. Made for Harvard University by the International Pottery Company and retailed by James M. Shaw and Company of New York.
Hallmarks: Base is stamped International Pottery Co. Dimensions: Length 8 1/8" x Width 6 5/8" x Height 10 1/2.Condition: Chip to rim along reverse side, which has been touched up with a bright shade of white. Surface scratches to body throughout with wear to flag and red enamel trim. Additional scuffs, scratches, scrapes, and chips to bottom rim of vessel.
