For sale is this elegant. 800 solid silver Italian thermos pitcher.

I would estimate it was made in the early to mid 20th century. All have mercury glass liners to keep liquids cold or hot. This jug is about 9 3/4 inches tall and about 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the base.

It's total weight (including the glass liner) is about 1,000 grams. The jug has an attractive old-style'dolphin' finial on the lid. It is in very good condition with minor scratching and wear from polishing over time. No cracks in the glass liner.
