This is really such a beautiful example of antique Crown Derby marked as shown and dating to the early/mid 19th century. The water pitcher stands 9.5" high to the top of the spout and is about 8" in diameter at the widest point. The ivory colored porcelain has a grape vine design in relief and brightly colored songbirds Handpainted on both sides. It is in great condition with the exception of what appears to be a stress hairline on the base, please see picture; however I tested it and it does hold water without leakage and of course the hairline does not show when it is on display.
This is a rare and I think especially beautiful piece of old Derby.
