Georgian Anglo-Irish circa 1800's cut glass Water Jug Pitcher / Wine Pitcher

  

This rare and antique lead glass piece Pitcher has a slim-shaped body with an extended pouring spout (lip) - The neck is prism-cut and leads down to a panel-cut body... The applied glass handle was first affixed to the neck and then finished off in the middle of the body... The jug ends in a star-cut base.. 9.25 inches in height from handle to base area - 8 5/8 inches from highest point of spout area to base - 5.5 inches by 4 inches top opening - 4 inches base diameter... Nice size and heavy in weight.

Light signs of previous use should be expected consistent with age and previous ownership... This sensational Water Jug is in in decent condition with some slight chips, residue, scratches and scuff marks to the jug's sides and underside; expect to see some inclusions (air bubbles) in the vintage lead glass... For its vintage timeline, in fabulous condition. Just re-package in its original packaging materials, box and insured (or similar in size)..
