An Absolutely Impressive & Gorgeous Antique Service Piece Indeed!! TILT POURING COFFEE POT/WATER PITCHER.

A Most Impressive & Stunning Antique Beverage Server Indeed! Very Good Vintage Condition for Being Approximately 130+ Years Old! Fabulous embossed and chased Victorian designs all over the pitcher and stand! Gorgeous "Art Deco" designs to the sidings of the stand and to the pitcher. There is a rare latch from the top spout to the pot lid (see photos) that has an inscription. (patent) Feb 14, 1888, possibly you can view this in photo #2. These latches are not common on tiling pouring pot lids, though they were. Installed to select items as this pitcher to"secure" the lid of this pitcher. To keep the lid stable from opening and spilling out the liquid contents.

There are 2 layers of metal layers to the pitcher body and to the lid (see photos). The stand is missing the upper handle attachment, original drip catcher plate.

A small silver plated and glass handled cup has been. Included within this set, and a lovely compliment indeed! Though without these original items aforementioned, still a lovely antique collectible! Please know that these antique pitchers have dual 2 paneled walls.

(exterior & interior) acts as a thermal insulator, retaining liquids within. At hot or cold temperatures!

This pitcher and stand were in a very heavily "black". Tarnished condition, you can only imagine what state this pitcher was in prior. To many hours of polishing see photo #9 for the likeness, as the underside. Base of this pitcher has not been polished. Quite a remarkable change in appearance yes! The underside of the stand shown in photo #10 has yet to be polished.

And has plate loss, though this area is not visible, can be polished if desired. One lower side of the pitcher lightly rubs against. One lower side of the stand handle, though poses no problem. Dings or dents, or corrosion! The interior is stain free, and without any issues!

The underside of the stand has patches of plate loss and has not been polished. Though this area is not an area of concern towards the outward physical appearance. Approximate Measurements are as Follows. Height (Top of Handles to Footed Base) is 11 1/2 Inches. Width (Horizontal) Outer Cup Edge to Back Base Stand Edge Across is 12 Inches. Depth (Vertical) Base Rim Edges Across is 7 1/2 Inches.

Height (Top of Finial to Base) is 12 1/4 Inches. Width (Widest Outer Spout Edge to Outer Handle Edge Across) is 10 Inches Depth/Diameter (Bottom Base Rim Edge Across) is 7 Inches. Liquid Capacity is 2 Quarts. Height (Top Rim Edge to Base) is 2 1/2 Inches. Width Handle to Back Cup Edge is 3 1/4 Inches.

Depth (Outer Side Edges Across) is 2 1/4 Inches. Total Weight of this Set is Approximately 8 Pounds 8 Ounces. Much More Beautiful than these Photos Portray! Do not place in dishwasher! A Beautiful Antique Relic & Collectible Indeed!
