A very eye catching and decorative Edwardian solid silver Water Jug or Beer Jug with a crest to the front. It has been made in the style of a Georgian Octagonal example from a good gauge of silver. Fully hallmarked Sterling Silver, 1903 Sheffield. The makers mark is of Joseph Rodgers and Sons.
It is an excellent condition being free from repairs, inscriptions or denting. The wooden handle is in good order and secure. The inside is in good order for its age. 8.5cm diameter at foot.10.5cm diameter of belly. 15.5cm width including handle and spout. A striking and usable piece of Edwardian Silver.
