David & Sherry Hoffman Studio Pottery Virginia Large Water Pitcher Signed Dated. Measures 10 inches tall by about 7 1/4 inches across the handle wide. 4 7/8 inches across the lip. 3 1/4 inches across the foot. Beautiful studio pottery water jug from David and Sherry Hoffman Studio out of Independence, Virginia.

Dated 1995 and signed on the bottom. Nicely finished details from the thumb hold on the pulled handle to the crimped lip. It's got a very attractive shape and lovely drip glaze colors in teal green, dark blue, caramel and chocolate brown on an off-white base. Hand-thrown stoneware studio pottery at a very high level of skill. Inside of pitcher is also glazed.
