Antique Pewter Wine Water Jug Bacchus Design Handle Chained Lid Decanter

  

Antique European lidded and chained decanter or wine jug with Grotesque mask / Bacchus on handle base. Makes for a fabulous decorative piece. Beautiful patina that only age can bring. The lid is chained to the neck of the bottle.

There are pewter stamps on the base of the pitcher. In good, preowned condition, given its age. Measures 12 inches tall and approximately 8 inches in diameter. I'm especially grateful if you see anything in my listing that doesn't seem accurate.
