Antique Middle Eastern Copper & Brass Pitcher Ottoman Lidded Water Jug Ewer 13.5

  
Antique hand hammered copper and brass pitcher from the early 1900's. This is a large lidded pitcher made of copper and brass with a brass handle and brass finial on the lid.

The lid is attached with an S shaped hook that is also attached to the body of the pitcher. This stunning piece has wear dated small dents and dings from use. The bottom is rounded and rises to a kettle shaped body that measures 7 in diameter. The top is ringed with two concentric circles and then there are multiple rings on the neck that rises 5 above the body of the pitcher.

An open trough type spout can be poured from with the lid off or on.
