Gorgeous antique French clay water pitcher from the south of France, circa late 1800s-very early 1900s. Distinctive yellow and green glazing, lower body unglazed, as is typical of this style of vessel. Gracefully arched upper handle, with smaller curved handle at one end and a well preserved spout at the other end. Sturdy construction; heavy and substantial. Normal everyday wear noted but sound structurally without any through cracks or holes.

Chip to base on one side as noted in photos. Wear as expected for a piece of this age. Please review all photos for an accurate depiction of condition.
