Antique Homer Laughlin Ironstone Water Pitcher. Graceful elongated oval shaped jug Sturdy white ironstone Rope decoration detail around handle This jug model is featured on page 10 of Homer Laughlins 1907 Catalog, Newell, West Virginia as White Granite Jug #32 From what I could ascertain Homer Laughlin's numbering system started around 1912. Size: 8-1/2" high x 8-1/2" across (including handle) Opening is 5" x 3-1/2" Item weight: 2 lb 1.2 oz White has not yellowed. Very clean on the interior. Some wear on base as shown. Some staining under spout which adds to its charm. 3 superficial discolorations / flea bites on rim (photo 3, right side).
