Presented is an antique, late 19th century, solid sterling silver water pitcher made by Gorham in 1898. This is a very large and heavy piece. The handle and rims are decorated with raised flourishes and flowers.

This piece looks like it matches Gorham's Meadow pattern. The whole piece has never been monogrammed. The underside is marked for Gorham, sterling silver purity and has a date symbol for the year 1898. This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp.

The jug measures 9 inches from handle to spout and is 11 inches tall. Capacity: 56 ounces or 3 1/2 pints. Weight: 1,141 grams or 2 1/2 pounds.
