Antique 1820s English Polychrome Painted Transferware Jugs

  

Pair of antique English 1820s ovid form milk or water jugs. Transfer printed, hand painted Chinoiserie pattern. With molded strap handles and molded decoration on spout. This type of jug was produced in England in the 1820s under different names. Locket & Hulme, Newbold, Baggerly & Ball, Opaque China, and others.

In fine undamaged condition, no crazing. The jugs measure 3.75" high and 6" wide.
