Be "backdrop images" that distort the actual image/impressions of the item(s). TILTING/POURING WATER PITCHER + STAND. An Impressive Antique Tilt Water Pitcher Set Indeed! This stunning set displays beautiful embossed Art Deco designs. All around the water pitcher, as well as to the stand.

The pitcher pot itself has two layered walls of metal plating, one to the exterior. And one to the interior.

The purpose for these walls of metal are for insulation. Acting as a "Thermos" so to speak, keeping the liquid within the pot either cold or hot!

This set was coated with heavy black tarnish, and has been polished to. Remove a large majority of the the tarnish, though not all completely/entirely.

A Gothic style letter "P" is visible just underneath the spout (view photo #5 for this detail). There is quite a lot of silver plate loss detected on both the pitcher and stand. The interior of the pot is clean and stain free, with no indication of corrosion/rust or pitting. Both the pitcher and stand displays quite some wear, and the the upper base to the stand. Has 4 small dimples, though both pieces still remain to be a beautiful part of our history. Light scratches & scuffs all around due to use and age. Overall, this set is considered to be in good vintage condition for it's age. Please note that the other tilt pot & samovar urn shown in photos #10 and #11. Width/Diameter (Widest Outer Handle Edges Across & Base Rim Edge) is 8 1/2 Inches. Water Pitcher: Height (Lid Finial to Base) is 12 1/2 Inches. Width (Spout Edge to Handle Edge) is 11 Inches.

Depth/Diameter (Widest Outer Base Rim) is 7 1/2 Inches. Liquid Capacity is 2 1/2 Quarts. Total Weight of Set is 7 Pounds 10 Ounces. As International rates are extremely high - sorry! Is closed for customer service.
