In unbelievable, enviable and treasured condition. Presentation inscription on base, pictured. Dimensions: 7.5 tall, 9 handle to spout. Thanks to an interested visitor to this site I have discovered that that Cheves Walling was an eminent chemist that was born in Evanston, Ill, graduated from Harvard, completed his PHD at Chicago in 1939 and married Jane Anne Wilson. This was apparently a wedding present.
