ANTIQUE FRENCH Clay Gargoulette/Water Jug, c. 1890-1920s

  

Beautiful antique French clay gargoulette, or water jug. Deep, emerald green glaze on top, gracefully arched top handle;a larger pouring spout at one side, with a smaller drinking spout at the other side. Very sturdy and solid construction. Very good antique condition showing age appropriate wear and evidence of use over decades.

Normal wear and tear, with light glaze loss and a few small nicks as photographed. Completely sound, without cracks or repairs.
